More Owl Cards!

Hey Guys

More owl cards! I am loving them!  These are a variation on the ones I did yesterday.  Here the owl is outside of the tree, not peeking out of it!

Most of the items used are the same as yesterday except for the colours which are Definately Daffodil and Pretty In Pink.

Hope to see you soon

A Selection of Colours

Hi Guys

As I went to bed before 9pm last night (very early I know), I was up at the crack of dawn, well 6am with hubby.  As a result of this, beds are changed, second load of washing is on the line and a general tidy of the house, woopee, that left time for some crafting ;o)

I made the first one in Pink Pirouette and Night of Navy and loved it so went on to do the Pink with different combos, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Rose Red & Bashful Blue!

To make these cards I've used
Card - Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red
Ink - Rose Red
Paper - DSP Subtles, Pink Pirouette
Stamps - Simply Said, Swirls & Curls Verses
Tools - Paper Piercer, Scallop Circle Punch, Circle Punch, White Uni ball pen

Only the accent colours then changed.

Hope you like it

Ink - Night of Navy, Embossing pad
Stamps - Mr & Mrs (retired), Schoolbook Serif Numbers
Embellishments - Night of Navy Satin ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds

School Club Card Class

Hi Guys

I've offered to do an after school club at my sons school this term and so I have been working on things that I think are okay for little ones.  My son is 5 and the children will be between 4 & 7 years old.  There will be a maximum of 12 in the class but I've got to tell you, as it gets closer I'm feeling a little nervous!

This is what I thought we would do on Monday, little Owl Bookmarks.  They can be for the child or as a Fathers Day pressy.  Here are a couple I've done, my son Conal did the blue one (wanted to make sure it was doable for them ;o))

The pink on has a damaged eye as Conal promptly dropped it, then stood on it!

Thought these large googly eyes would be good for the kids.

Happy Father's Day stamp although I have a few they can choose from (not SU haha)

Hope you like it.

Post it note holders

Hey Guys

Pretty stressful yesterday as no blogspot available and it also looked like I'd lost my most recent post.  Turns out they were working on it and I didn't lose my post.  I did however lose all my comments which is a shame.  At least we are all systems go today ;o)

Was outside selling raffle tickets for the pta today for the May Fair, when I left the house it was sunny and lovely but the minute I got outside (with no jacket) it clouded over and got pretty cold so I ended up chilled for an hour not ideal as already have a sore throat and have a gig tonight too, oh dear!

Alrighty these cute little post it note holders are super easy but excellent as a little gift.  I've used Elegant Soiree DSP to cover 2 beer mats, a piece of matching card stock inside and decorated the front using various punches and a letter from the Broadsheet Alphabet.

Quarterly Training at Bicester 17th April

Hey Guys

Here are my swaps for Quarterly Training.  I was a bit stuck on what to do but wanted to do something that included the fabulous Mini Catalogue products.  This one uses a little circle in Whisper White that has been embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.  The card is Night of Navy and the Scallop Circle is Tempting Turquoise as is the Grosgrain ribbon to tie it all together.  The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations.

Pretty simple and pretty cute ;o)

A bunch of them...

A little closer.  Hope everyone liked them.

See ya

TGIF - at last

Hi Guys

Had a stamping morning with my friend Yvette who cant make the Wednesday evening class so we do the same class on a Friday morning, she brings her little man who is just adorable and sooo well behaved, aw.  It was lovely to have some crafting time and great for Yvette as she had an order to collect too.

Funnily enough I was just telling her how the UPS guy is my favourite man because he brings me Stampin Up goodies, then the doorbell rang and, you wont believe me but it was him!!  What are the chances, Yvette told him he was my favourite chap and to be honest he looked a little afraid, haha.

I kept crafting for a little bit after Yvette left and I wanted to show you this cute Easter card.

So here is my first Easter bunny although I'm sure there will be more where he came from!  I have used Chocolate Chip, So Saffron & Tempting Turquoise CS the paper piercing tool adds a nice touch to the scalloped edge and I've used Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon.  All of the bunnies bits are edged with Chocolate Chip Ink.

Have a great Friday

Card Class Feb 23rd

Hi Stampers!
It's half term and  it certainly feels like it, I have the three kids at home.  We drove to Glasgow to see some family and spent a few days there which was lovely.  We came back down yesterday just in time for my card class.  To say that I was slightly disorganised is probably being kind but hopefully the girls forgave me and it wasn't too bad.

The projects were Mothers Day/Female Birthday and first we did 2 fairly simple cards with punches and then a little handbag which I completely fluffed the measurements of and as a result the girls had to avoid some score marks, oh dear.  Anyway the bags they made were gorgeous! I've got a couple of pictures here and I realise that I was so excited about the bags I didn't snap any of the other cards, nevermind I'll pop some on later.

Here are the bags from Becky, Louise, Juanita & Lydia.

Here they are together, so cuuuuuuuute!
Cardstock is Certainly Celery with so saffron Designer Series paper

Juanita used pink brads and Pear Pizazz poly stitched ribbon to tie her bag (the J is coloured in Old Olive), lovely!

This is Lydia's and the B is stamped in Certainly Celery, using the paper piercer on the scalloped circle is a lovely touch too!!

Becky opted for a beautiful flower in her circle and used the Certainly Celery Grosgrain ribbon and matching yellow brads.  How gorgeous are these bags?!

And last but not least we have Louises bag, the focal point this time is off to the right and she has stamped some additional decoration using the small flower from Silhouette Sentiments which I think works really well.

Well done ladies!  Believe it or not I felt pretty calm and stress free by the end of it all - who'd have thought it.

Will post some pics of the other cards later on.

See ya

Hi guys

The weather here is rubbishy and dull, I so need some sunshine, even a little would go a long way.  I wasn't able to craft last night as I had a noSecret rehearsal but here is a card I made the night before.  I have been making an effort to use my lovely designer series papers.  They are just so lovely it really is an effort for me to cut them up, sad I know.

For this card I used Marina Mist cardstock and matching DS paper.  I have punch a circle in the front so you can see the little owl from Fox & Friends that is stamped on Very Vanilla inside.  He is stamped in Chocolate Chip and the Scalloped Circle & the Grosgrain ribbon are both in Chocolate Chip too.  The sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess set, Because I Care.
Hope you like it.
