Stanleys Birthday

Hey Guys

Here is a little boy card.  Its for my nephew Stanley who will be 5 years old.  Unfortunately we are on holiday and wont see the little man for his birthday :(  I recently ordered the whole set of sizzix alphabet but I think its a great investments and cards automatically look more polished, well mine do anyway.  Bit of a bummer for names of more than 7 letters though ;o)

To make this card I've used
Card - Whisper White, Pacific Blue, Bashful Blue, Old Olive & Real Red
Ink - Pacific Blue
Papers - Celebration DSP
Tools - Star Punch, Sizzix Big Shot, Sizzlets Alphabet

Hope to see you again soon

My first Blog Candy

Hi Guys

Am feeling very pleased with myself in that I have created my first blog candy.  I remember seeing lots of these at convention and being pretty blown away by how fabulous they were, such a great idea and lots of inspiration in just one of these sheets.  Anyway here is mine.  I haven't stuck to a specific stamp set as such but maintained the colour combination which was Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.

I have used quite a few punches for these!
Card - Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Ink - Soft Suede, Baja Breeze
Stamps - Vintage Vogue
Embellishments - Very Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon, Pearls
Tools - Punches, Boho Blossoms, Star, Tag, Scallop Circle, Hearts, Large Heart, Word Window, Scalloped Edge

Monster cards for kids!

Hi Guys

Have had quite a glut of childrens parties and so have been staying in kiddie mode for cards.  Here are a few of the cards I made using the Make a Monster set which is fantastic for children.  Coupled with the Playdate papers and the Star punch you are set!  The ideas were from Julies Japes as I love the way she puts things together.

To make these cards I used
Card - Whisper White, Old Olive, Real Red, Bashful Blue
Ink - Versamark, Basic Black, Old Olive, Bashful Blue
Stamps - Make A Monster, Party This Way, Schoolbook Serif Numbers
Papers - DSP Playdate
Tools - Star Punch, 2 3/4 Circle Punch, 1 3/4 Circle Punch

Hope you like them.

Little Monsters

Hi Guys

Quick post today as I need to get my car in for an MOT and service this morning and the earlier I get it there the quicker I'll get it back.  As Conal has a few parties coming up over the next 3 weeks I thought I would get started on the cards for the kids, they are all turning 5!  Here they are, they are all pretty much the same, little monster cards for little monsters ;o).

Here is one a little closer, as you can see I've used the 3/4" punch to cut a 5 from the DSP!
