Hi Guys - I'm back!
I have a new camera and am very happy to be able to resume my blog ;o)
I have been busy over Christmas as I had my grandad staying with me for the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas then we all went to Glasgow on the Boxing Day. Its always busy seeing everyone but so lovely to catch up with everyone. We were especially happy to see our nephew Logan who is 8 months old who had an operation 2 weeks ago. His skull had fused together far too quickly and made him pretty ill so they had to go in and split the skull, cutting him from ear to ear over the top of his head. As you can imagine we were all very worried but he came through it brilliantly and the doctors are very happy with his progress. Here are a couple of pics, he is just gorgeous!
My card for today is using Pennant Parade and I have been making quite a few which I will share with you over the next few days. this is a baby card using So Saffron, Baja Breeze & Whisper White. It was pretty straight forward and I've used the Pennant Builder Punch and the 3/4" circle punch and the sentiment is from Curly Cute. The background was created using the same So Saffron run through the big shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder.
Hope you like it.

A New Baby Girl!
Hi Guys
This card was so enjoyable to make. A friend of mine had a baby girl on the 1st December and so pink was the order of the day. I love making baby cards, just feels lovely.
I've been desperate to get my Pennant Parade and Pennant Builder Punch out to play and this was the perfect opportunity! I've used Pretty In Pink card stock and DSP and I've punched out the scalloped pennant in Crumb Cake and stamped the inner using Pretty In Pink ink with the dotty Pennant Parade stamp. I then used the Just Perfect Alphabet to stamp out the word baby and punched out using a 3/4" circle punch. The pennants are then punched in each corner to allow me to pop the twine through and there you have it. A little congratulations sentiment at the bottom.
Sorry the lighting isn't so good for the photo but you get the idea.
Pennant Parade 122742 is £16.95 for a whopping 13 stamps!
Pennant Builder Punch 122361 £15.50
Together they total £32.45 (plus p&p £4.95)
If you order both of these from me in the month of December I will include a Pretty In Pink Stampin Write Marker (value £2.95)
Hope you like it.

New baby
Hey Guys
My friend had a baby boy a couple of weeks ago and I will see her husband at a Mojo rehearsal so wanted to get the gift wrapped. I decided to do my own wrapping, a la Crafting Claire and although its not quite that standard it is nice and I'm pleased with it. The ribbon is from the US catalogue and its a stitched grosgrain in Bashful Blue, really lush. I bought a role of poster paper from The Range and hand stamped it with a baby sentiment and the babygrow from the Hostess set A Slice Of Life.
Sorry the pictures aren't fantastic, there is no sunshine today.
Hope you like it
See you soon

Bumper Tri Fold Baby Albums
Hi Guys
I got home from my trip to Glasgow yesterday and although it is a long drive feel pretty rested today which is great. Have lots to do but thought I should quickly update my blog as I've missed a few days.
I was very fortunate in that my lovely mum in law watched the children and I met up with my friend Gill for dinner, a sleep over and a day of crafting the next day! I am aware that as a 38 year old the term sleep over sounds funny but thats what the kids always say. Needless to say there was much chat and catching up but ladies, we were on a mission to get our baby albums completed. The phrase "I didn't realise we were on a Crafting Boot Camp" was actually uttered more than once by the lovely Gill, haha, so perhaps I was the one on a mission. It was a great break and we did get our albums done at the end, mine is blue and Gills is pink, aw!
Gills colour combo was Pretty In Pink, So Saffron and Very Vanilla whilst mine was the same except I used Bashful Blue instead of the pink. So cute and brilliant work from Gill who had never made one before. Missing her already!
Hope you like it

Baby Shower Bag!
Hey Guys!
Still on the baby shower theme here is a little bag I made which fits three pairs of socks perfectly! I love making this bag as it really is quite quick (I usually keep a template of 3D items then just refer back when I want to make again).
The sentiment 'hello baby' is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a US stamp set
A closeup of the ribbon which is a double stitched wide grosgrain also a US item.
To make this card is used
Card - Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Ink - Bashful Blue
Paper - DSP Subtles
Stamps - Teeny Tiny Wishes
Embellishments - Bashful Blue Brads, Bashful Blue Stitched grosgrain ribbon
Tools - Boho Blossoms Punch, Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Extra Large Oval Punch
Hope you like it. If anyone would like measurements then drop me an email.
See you soon

Baby Tri-Fold Album & Box
Hi Stampers
I have been very busy & I have a gorgeous post today to show you. I've made a tri fold album AND I've made a box to go with it. The tri fold album is the longer one that folds out and since we did one at Quarterly Training with Michelle Last I have loved them although I've not gotten around to finishing one yet....until today, yay.
When the album was finished I knew I wanted to make a box to put it in. As its a baby gift it would just be the finishing touch! I have seen some on other blogs but no measurements to go with them so I set about sorting the measurements and making my box - here is the end result. Love it!
I've used Very Vanilla satin ribbon as it feels luxurious, love the satin ribbons!
The album out of the box. Lots more ribbon - love it!
Lots of little embellishments.
The full inside.
A little close up of the words inside, aw.
To make this card: (all products Stampin Up unless stated otherwise)
Card - Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Stamps - Baby Tee's Jumbo Roller, Out of the Box, Fox & Friends
Ink - Bashful Blue, So Saffron
Embellishments - Pearls, Diamante, Designer Buttons Subtles, DSP Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon
Tools - Scallop Trim Corner, Scallop Trim Border
I am going to do a youtube video tutorial for the tri shutter box so will pop a link on here soon. This fits the Papertake Weekly Challenge as well ;o)
Hope you like it

Saturday Blogging
Hi Guys
Just a quickie today, am off into London with my 2 daughters, we are going to have lunch, look at the shops and then fwe are seeing The Script at the O2 tonight, soo excited. To top it off we are staying in a nice hotel and having breakfast before my lovely hubby comes to pick us up. Chris (hubby) and Conal are going to have a boys night in, aw!
I have been crafting like mad and am thoroughly enjoying all of my Stampin Up supplies! Am still in baby mode as lots of people I know are expecting little bundles over the next few months. This card is a colour variation of one I posted a few months ago. Did a boy one so here is the girly version.
