Friendship

Hi Guys

This card is one for the miscellaneous folder, for those of you who separate your stash of cards ;o)  The main stamp is from the set Occasional Greeting (110520) £30.95 for wood.  You get a fantastic TWELVE stamps in this set, TWO of which are suitable for Christmas cards which I know we are all thinking about at the moment.

I've chosen Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip & Whisper White for my colour scheme, not one that I use a lot but I really like it.

Wednesday Card Class

Hi Guys

Todays post is showcasing the items we made at card class yesterday.  I tell you these ladies are something else - I'm going to be completely grey by the time they are finished with me!  Amidst losts of banter and laughing and a few false starts we did manage to get creative and here are the results.

These cards are a take on one I did for an earlier post and the details are the same except we have used Night of Navy instead of Certainly Celery and the ribbon is Satin not Grosgrain.

Here are all 4 together!

Juanitas - Wonderful Friend

Ginny's - Happy Anniversary - not very clear, my photography skills aren't my strong point ;o)

Becky's - Wonderful Sister - and large bow, haha we joked that Beckys bow could be used for a hat at Ascot ;o)

Lou's - Favourite Aunt - little bow!

Think we were all quite chuffed with how lovely the finished items were.

The second card we made is also a follow up on one I did for an earlier blog.  We stayed with the same colours too.

The girls here have all chosen different sentiments which makes them more personal.  I love this colour
combo.

Looks like its going to be another lovely day.  Enjoy!

Still working with Vellum

Hi Guys

Yup still working with Vellum and am really enjoying it, the effects you can get are quite stunning but very easy to achieve.  I really am hooked on the embossing and it turns out wonderfully.

Todays card is a birthday card and I've used vellum squares on top of card with a little accent.  This was ideal as we all know its hard to get vellum to stick without showing through, the little accent here covers the bit of tombo I used to attach the vellum to the cardstock.

A little bit closer

Mini offerings!

Hi Guys

This cute little card is only 10cmx10cm so will fit into a square envelope perfectly.  I have stayed on the mini theme and have used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, which is my absolute favourite just now and a real bargain at only £6.95.

The card is Pretty In Pink with the embossed cardstock in Whisper White.  The tiny cupcake is from Itty Bitty Bits, a set of 9 gorgeous teeny tiny stamps which have coordinating punches and clear buttons!  How cute is that!  The cupcake is stamped in Regal Rose and using a dimentional is raised onto Pretty In Pink cardstock which is also raised.  I thought the card was pretty enough so left the sentiment although almost any one would work here, and opted instead to tie some Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon around it.
