Card Holder Box

Hi Guys

Today I have a 3D item for you, a box to hold your cards and we all know we need these!  This one is very easy to do and uses one sheet of 12x12 card stock for the main box which you can then decorate with designer series paper.

I love it and I've popped three cards inside so you can see how spacious it is!  Will do a youtube tutorial on this which you can check out if you type in stetsonstacey.

Here is a close up of my little flower which is just the petal punch.

Here you can have a peek inside.

To make this I used
Cardstock - Regal Rose
Paper - Springtime Vintage
Tools - Flower Punch, Boho Blossoms

Hope you like it

Summertime Vintage Notebook

Hi Guys

I have a cute little notebook here.  I made it for one of the girls who comes to my card class.  She moves back to Kendal this week and so will no longer be able to come along.  She will definately be missed!  I've used beer mats covered with Springtime Vintage DSP.   The crop-a-dile was used for the large brads and I've popped a ring and some ribbon around it.

Hope she likes it.  May need to get in some cakes so make it a proper goodbye!

See you soon

The sick bed!

Hi Guys

This cute little thing was inspired by something my upline Michelle Last did as a swap a while ago.  Its was two top notes made into a little pocket with a little owl paperclip and an insert for a wish list.  Anyway I thought the little pocket looked a little bit like a bed & when I saw the nurse owl on Julies Japes I just knew I had to do this.  So here we have a sick owl and a nurse owl on standby!

This is probably self explanatory for everyone so I wont give details although if you want them please email me.

Get Well Wishes is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a US set I got on my recent trip to NY

And my poorly owl with the half shut eye, so cute!

To make this card
Card - Rose Red, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
Ink - Early Espresso
Stamps - Teeny Tiny Wishes
Tools - Big Shot, Top Note, Owl Punch, Word Punch, Decorative label punch
Paper - Springtime Vintage DSP

Hope you like it and come back again soon

Faux Quilting - Maureen would be so proud!

Hi Guys

Todays offering is using the fabulous new Big Shot machine, the top note die & the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Papers ALL from the new Mini Catalogue.  I have seen quite a few people do the quilt effect.  I thought my mum in law Maureen would like this as she does proper quilting (with material), hope you like it Mo ;o)

I used my square punch and punched 12 squares from 3 different sheets of the DSP, bear in mind it is double sided so you are really spoiled for choice here. Then I stuck them all gto a piece of backing card then used the Big Shot with the Top Note die to give me my central piece.  This is then added to a piece of CS using dimensionals. I have used Pretty in Pink CS.  Tie a piece of Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon in a knot at the side.  The sentiment is stamped in Regal Rose and punched with the Large Oval Punch and a small flower button from the subtles range.

A little close up of the bow

And a close up of the sentiment with the little button, cute!
