My first Blog Candy

Hi Guys

Am feeling very pleased with myself in that I have created my first blog candy.  I remember seeing lots of these at convention and being pretty blown away by how fabulous they were, such a great idea and lots of inspiration in just one of these sheets.  Anyway here is mine.  I haven't stuck to a specific stamp set as such but maintained the colour combination which was Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.

I have used quite a few punches for these!
Card - Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Ink - Soft Suede, Baja Breeze
Stamps - Vintage Vogue
Embellishments - Very Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon, Pearls
Tools - Punches, Boho Blossoms, Star, Tag, Scallop Circle, Hearts, Large Heart, Word Window, Scalloped Edge

I'm back!

Hi Stampers! Ooh seems like a while since I've been on here but I have been crafting, never fear.  So here are a few of the cards that I have been creating.  I'm in a bit of a flap at the moment and feel like I don't have enough time to use and enjoy all my gorgeous craft supplies!  I'm not complaining because that is a lovely position to be in but I definately need to be a bit more organised to ensure maximum crafting time.

This card uses the Playdate DS Paper which I love although I must say its the less obvious patterns that grabs me, in this card its the heart design I loved - one of the best things about SU designer paper is that you get two chances to love it what with it being double sided!  The hearts are all punched using the Heart To Heart punch, the edging is the Scallop Trim Border punch and finished off with the Striped Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and a couple of Rhinestones, pretty!

As well as making the matchboxes about I also did a couple of cards, still on the theme of Valentine's Day, one very like the box and another, using the Small Heart punch which is very apt.

Valentine's Matchbook Box

Hey Stampers!  Sorry haven't been updating the last few days, had some dental work done and was in a fair bit of pain but feeling lots better now and have had a fantastic night crafting.  Got the kids all off to bed and just got cracking, its amazing how much your miss it when you don't get the chance to be crafty.

So I started with these Matchbook boxes which you can see my upline Michelle Last demonstrate on youtube.  Its very cute and very easy.  Uses the Heart To Heart Punch and the effect is really lovely.

I have used Crumb Cake cardstock and the Heart To Heart Punch with paper from Play Date Designer Paper backing the hearts. I've used the Basic Black Marker to edge the hearts giving the faux stitching effect.  The top is edged with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and the love stamp is from a retired set.

I even copied Michelles choice of chocolates to put inside the box in one of the small cellophane bags, it is such a cute gift for someone.

60th Birthday Card

Hey Stampers! (still loving it)
Today I made a birthday card for my mum who will be 60 years old in a couple of days.  She isn't very girly or hugely into frilly fussy stuff but does like things to be pretty.  I thought this card fitted the bill nicely.  Not too much but just enough (I hope).

I used the Designer Series Paper Pack - Subtles for the patterned areas, don't they look great?  At just £15.50 for 40 sheets of gorgeous double sided designs this is fast becoming a favourite of mine.

I have also used the Heart to Heart, 1 3/4" Scallop circle & 1 3/8" circle punches.  The glittery 60 was created using the heat and stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

I hope mum likes it and I'm glad I got the chance to take a couple of pictures before I pop it into the post.

I am starting my first class tonight so am hoping that at least 1 person turns up, either way it promises to be a crafty night.

Sorry but took another picture of this card from a different angle.  Not quite sure what these are called
perhaps, a tri fold card or something like that?  I'm
someone will know and maybe they can let me know.

Have a Happy Wednesday
Love
Stacex
